The basic premise for the creation of a range rover bobtail is that a standard (prefrably 3 door) Range Rover that has its body shortened in order to reduce the rear overhang and increase the departure angle of the vehicle. Once converted, the vehicle can either retain its original shape (all be it with a shorter overhang) or can be turned into a pick up which will aid rear visibility or any combination thereoff…
Although Range Rover Bobtails are more common with the Range Rover Classic they sometimes do occur based on the later Range Rover P38.
